On September 16th, the Representative Office of “Rossotrudnichestvo” in Tanzania organized master classes for students studying painting at the Faculty of Creative Arts of the University of Dar es Salaam. The lessons on portrait drawing and classical still-life art were conducted at the Russian Centre for Science and Culture (RCSC) in Dar es Salaam by a teacher of painting, drawing and composition from the V.I. Surikov Moscow State Academic Art Institute Lilia Ustyugova and a member of the board of the Union of Russian Artists, corresponding member of the International Academy of Culture and Art Mikhail Gorshunov. The famous Russian artists came to Tanzania to participate in the "Tanzanian Open Air" project, initiated by the RCSC, and implemented jointly with one of the Russian creative associations - the International Art Fund.
The first Open-Air, which culminated in an exhibition by three Russian artists who had participated in it, took place in January 2020. The works done during the on-going September Open Air, will be exhibited at the RCSC on September 22nd.
