On 27^th March, in the Big Hall of the RTCC in Dar es Salaam, there was a concert of classical photo piano and vocal productions performed by Russian artists- Laureate of International Competitions Alexander Zlatin and the Soloist of the All-Russian State Television and Radio Dari Davidova, who had been invited by the Representative of Rossotrudnichestvo. Hundreds of Tanzanian music fans were treated to productions of Chaikovsky, List, Musorgsky, Hershvin, Borodin, Pucchini, Rahmaninov and other world-known composers as well as to Russian romances and traditional songs.

The virtual mastery of the pianist A. Zlatin and the brilliant talent of D. Davidova who possesses remarkable lyrical soprano, kept the public spellbound so much so that they kept giving an accompaniment of rapturous applause to every number of the program.

 Concerts of classical music at the RTCC evoke in Tanzania a genuine attraction towards Russian musical culture. Earlier on a big resonance here had been evoked by the musical festival which was held in November and December, 2018 – the concert of A. Melnikov (photo piano) and V. Stepanov (violoncello), within the framework of the project “Embassy of Musical Mastery”, and the opera concert of the national artist of the Republic of Komi- O.Sosnovcka (soprano).
